Why is he making me feel guilty?

Do you think he will go right back to neglecting you if you start dating again? People break up for a reason and very rarely do those reasons get resolved. I think he sounds like he wants what he can't have, like your somehow a challenge to him now and he is going to put the effort to get you back. I don't think you should feel guilty about the break up. Be friends for awhile and see how it goes. If he neglects your friendship then you have your answer.
