BMW e39 won't start after disconnect and reconnect negative battery terminal?

Disconnected negative battery terminal, then reconnect it tightly. But now it won't start. Engine is cranking but sounds like it doesn't get the fuel supply. Does it has something to do with alarm system,immobiliser or something else. Have been locking the car manually for sometimes now. Need help please.
